Veterinary students from all around the globe will meet once again, this time in the country of summer, sea, sun, history, hospitality and of course, Mediterranean spirit. International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA) Greece, which consists of two chapters – IVSA Thessaloniki and IVSA Thessaly, is proud to continue this unifying tradition and organize the global congress for the year of 2020, with main goal to offer everyone a unique experience!
Starting in Thessaloniki and ending at Volos, the delegates will visit two different cities, both surrounded by the sea. Τhe exploration will be spread in two areas of Greece, giving greater access to landmarks and activities. The country is blessed with eternal sunshine as well as the combining state-of-the-art infrastructure and world-class cultural attractions.
The main part of the Congress are the GAs, lectures and workshops. However, the perfectly balanced program includes cultural activities and social events as well as time to relax and bond, so as to satisfy both the vet and the student spirit inside of everyone!

IVSA Greece is fully committed to welcome you, introduce you to the Greek life for those 12 exciting days, and finally contribute in expanding your perspectives by discussing your points of view, creating new ones and sharing knowledge in the most wonderful field called veterinary medicine.
And of course, don’t forget! Travelling gives you a lot more than you would have gotten if you had simply stayed back. Most of all, it can show you that some things, like love and friendship, are truly universal.
